Our flea treatment methods

First our licensed pest inspector will carry out an inspection of your property. A quick walk through the house should reveal the presence of fleas.

We blanket spray all internal areas of your house including all rooms and areas your pets have access to.

We start our treatment from the far end of the house and work our way back using fan spray to all floor surfaces, carpets, rugs, sofas and under furniture. Externally we treat all yards, gardens patios and under subfloor cavities if your pet has access to these areas.

Environmentally friendly and pet safe flea treatment

We use a variety of pet safe, environmentally-friendly flea control treatment products for the control of fleas. A key ingredient we add to our base products which is an insect growth regulator. This is vital as  insect growth regulators prevent fleas from reaching maturity by interfering with the  insects ability to moult. This in turn helps stops infestations because immature insects cannot reproduce.

After the flea treatment

After the initial flea  treatment the adults generally die within the first few days. It can take up to fourteen days to have complete control over the  fleas because the eggs are impervious to any treatments and must hatch before they can come into contact with the residual insecticide. Flea egg hatches through vibration so generally just walking around your house will help this process.

What can you do to prevent future flea infestations

• Treat all dogs and cats with flea treatment from vet or supermarket
• All lawns to be mowed short and grass watered down before service
• Vacuum all floor before service as this cannot be done for at least 10 days after the service is complete
